April 6, 2024

I am deeply honored and grateful to SDWF for selecting All the Bad Girls Wear Russian Accents as their 2024 Poetry Collection of the Year.

Join me and hundreds of others for this free day of literary events in Coronado

Performing Arts complex. Check out the amazing lineup of panelists and performers here. Family friendly!

Looking forward to co-hosting the reading and open mic with SDPA Executive Editor and good friend, Michael Klam and then reading in the "Words to Uplift" feature with Tania Pryputniewicz

Spring 2024

What an honor to be notified by the California State Chapter of the National Federation of Press Women that All the Bad Girls Wear Russian Accents has taken first place in the creative verse category of the prestigious press communication awards! It will now go on to the National level for judging - fingers crossed.

Incidentally, my "100% Mom" poem was awarded second place. Although that's not enough to advance further, I am  incredibly proud and grateful for this amazing recognition.

February 2024

I love Meat For Tea, The Valley Review so much! Not only were they one of the first journals to publish me, they are chock-full of incredible and cooky writing and art. Did I mention they constantly win a bunch of awards too? I hope you enjoy this deep dive into poetry with me and impresario Elizabeth MacDuffie.

Big thanks to Elizabeth and Mark Alan Miller for inviting me on the show to discuss my Pushcart Nominated Meat For Tea poem, Failure to Thrive
